The Prime Minister requests to take into account economic restrictions of the country. In this context, he stressed the importance for members of the government to show rigorous selectivity in the requests for budgetary financing of the LFR for their respective ministries.

With regard to current projects, funded by internal and external resources, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of prioritizing budgetary allowances for the payment of arrears linked to the services already rendered.
He also encouraged ministers to make a strict selection of projects with a low realization rate. He also underlined the need for consultations with technical and financial partners to reorganize the portfolio of projects funded by external resources which do not correspond to the national transformation agenda, as well as those which are indeed aligned and which must now be considered as an integral part of new projects.
By following these directives, the Prime Minister asked the ministers responsible for the economy and plan, finance and budget, to take the necessary measures, in coordination with the Minister, secretary general of the government.
The objective is to present the proposals for budget registration for projects to prepare a pre-arbitration meeting before the submission of the amending finance bill to the Council of Ministers as soon as possible.
