While voices are raised to denounce a lack of transparency in the special recruitment of 2,000 teachers for the 2024-2025 school year, the Ministry of National Education wanted to clarify the process. Through a detailed press release, the educational authorities have set out the selection criteria, the stages of the processing of files and the measures taken to ensure equity, inclusion and administrative rigor.

“Special recruitment of 2,000 teachers: a strong response to the deficit in educational staff
The government has launched an exceptional recruitment of 2,000 teachers for the 2024/2025 school year in order to overcome the deficit in educational staff. Applications are open from January 23 to February 1, 2025 online. The following distribution was proposed: 1500 for preschool education and elementary education and 500 for general average education and general secondary education.
The selection criteria selected were as follows: being a community staff fulfilling the conditions, holding a professional educational diploma, or a teaching diploma, or an academic diploma with or without experience in education. In an inclusion approach, candidates living with a handicap and fulfilling the criteria are systematically preselected.
After clearing and analysis of the inscriptions, 164,772 applications were recorded: 125,486 for elementary/preschool and 39,286 for the 199,2565 medium/secondary. 7.168 said they had CAP/CEAP, 1.077 CAE-CEM/CAEM/CAES and 32,191 be experienced.
The preselection gave the following results: 2,615 preselected candidates (2,011 for preschool/elementary and 604 for the medium/secondary). These candidates consist of community contract workers who have applied and fulfilled the conditions, holders of professional and teaching diplomas (license and teaching master), as well as holders of experienced or not academic diplomas, in accordance with quotas by discipline.
The preselected candidates were informed by SMS of the procedure for submitting their files to the chosen ITEF. Those not selected received messages of thanks and encouragement. A complaint platform has been opened for all candidates.
The exploitation of file validation data at the IEF level has given the following results:
• 100 preselected candidates have not submitted files for various reasons;
• 02 duplicates;
• 49 whose age did not meet the criteria were identified;
• 206 having declared an unproven professional experience;
• 33 not having provided the declared license or master;
• 261 having declared professional diplomas did not provide it or have deposited non -compliant professional diplomas (diplomas from other professions, diplomas of private establishments, etc.);
• 47 having deposited non -compliant academic diplomas (unrecognized Arabic Bac, license and master not recognized or not relevant for a teaching discipline);
• 29 having declared the course but having only deposited the BFEM
The candidates selected after this operation received messages of notification of their selection. 2.077 are validated from the work of the IEF and 157 candidates initially not selected were contacted to submit their file in order to supplement the quotas because of the high number of non -compliant files. The rampant, -the examination of exams and competitions (Dexco), the Arabic teaching division (DEA) of the MEN were seized for the authentication of diplomas, certificates or questionable admission orders.
A second control carried out by the HRD, after receipt of the files of the selected candidates, made it possible to identify: 10 candidates whose age did not meet the criteria and 40 candidates having tabled non -compliant academic diplomas.
Finally, out of the 2,026 files deemed to comply, 2,000 candidates were definitively selected, including 1,726 for preschool/elementary and 274 for the middle/secondary. The remaining 26 files were placed on a waiting list.
A total of 639 are communitys, 497 have the course; 03, a caes; 01, CAPEPS; 01, CAE-CEM, the rest is made up of holders of teaching diplomas and academic diplomas.
The medium/secondary quota has been revised downwards due to the high number of non -compliant files. It should be remembered that the quotas were determined on the basis of the incompressible needs identified, especially in the starting areas. The latest needs of academies have been considerably reduced with the recruitment of 490 elementary/preschool teachers as lecturer at colleges and high schools, in response to strikes and tensions caused by teachers’ deficit.
Thus, the workforce of teachers made available to colleges and high schools during the year is 770 if we take into account these lectures.
The selected candidates received the notification of their service order by SMS by mentioning itef or assignment ita, the order of teaching and specifying the period of taking service under penalty of replacement. Service orders are also displayed in IEF and IA.
In order to stabilize this new staff in their reception district, taking service is only effective from the date of signature of obviously, a selection always implies an elimination. It should just be remembered that the five-year plan implemented by the new authorities (2024-2029), aims at the recruitment of 30,000 teachers, with already 8,000 positions provided this year (2,000 via this special recruitment and 6,000 per competition).
