On this sunny Sunday, April 6, the crowd hurried in Puy-l’Évêque at the garage sale-flea market organized by the volleyball club of the Lot Vallée base. 95 exhibitors both inside and outside the village hall attracted a large number of barges; Among the stands in the shade of the room, one could notice that of the organizers, the volleyball players (almost all the players were present) which for the occasion had put on their competition jersey. Providing, they offered grilling to visitors and also sold the pancakes and muffins at the bar, but also enough to quench your thirst.
Asked about the future of the profits of the day, coach Joris Candelier plans to buy new posts – a necessity due to the renovation of the gymnasium and its land – as well as balloons. The club house repair will also require some investments.
As part of the UFOLEP departmental championship, team 1 evolves in the 2nd division and counts well (as 1st of its group) access the first division. Team 2, resident of the 3rd division, has the same objective, given the constant progress made, to go to the higher level, but in the more distant future.
In the meantime, our volleyball players will organize a tournament open to all (all) by the end of the season. As in previous years, they will go during the summer season in vacation centers to compete some friendly games.
