New for Badara Gadiaga after the complaint filed

The announcement of a CICES complaint against the Badara Gadiaga columnist raises strong reactions. Pinned in a report dating from 2017 for the alleged use of a false BFEM diploma during its recruitment, Gadiaga is today targeted by a procedure that some consider as late and politically oriented.

Among the most critical voices, that of Me Oumar Youm, former minister under Macky Sall, is distinguished by his firmness. In a remarkable outing, Me Youm castigates the approach: “He who brought the action of the complaint must be stopped. You have to be serious. How to dust a 2017 report for that? He questions. For him, this case is more like a political maneuver than a sincere will to enforce the law. Badara Gadiaga, who has left the Cices for several years, has converted into a columnist on the TFM, especially in the program “Jakaarlo”, where his critical interventions at the place of the regime in place became regular.

Me Oumar Youm sees in this complaint a barely veiled attempt to silence it: “In democracy, you have to know how to gain height. What will people say? Well, it’s because he mimics the diet every Friday on the set that we try to silence him. The former minister calls for more maturity in the management of criticisms: “A state must know how to listen to criticism,” he concludes.
