On April 20, the Council of Ministers, chaired by Abdelmadjid Tebboune, adopted a bill supervising general mobilization. This text aims to specify the methods of organization, preparation and implementation of this exceptional measure, mentioned in article 99 of the Algerian Constitution, said an official press release. His adoption comes in a context marked by a blurring between Algeria and Mali, who accused him of having shot down a drone in Malian territory or the repetitive speeches of officials, civilians and military, on the “dangers that surround Algeria” and the urgency of “consolidating the internal front in the face of threats that target [le pays] ».
