“We know that one of the major challenges in our country remains the employment of young people. It is a national priority. Faced with this imperative, the government deploys coherent and adapted policies. Through professional integration programs, support for entrepreneurship, as well as strengthening vocational and technical training, “noted the President of the Republic. The latter also pointed out that the social conference held on April 24 and 25, 2025, made it possible to identify avenues for concrete solutions. “They will be co -constructed with all social, economic, technical and financial partners. The conclusions resulting from this consultation framework, structured around a concerted reform agenda, will guide our next actions, ”assured Mr. Faye.
In addition, the Head of State considers that it is imperative to build a solid gateway between training and the job market. “We will also make sure to modernize technical and vocational training, to support the future sectors, and to strengthen the involvement of the private sector in the definition of curriculums and internship and learning opportunities,” he promises.
Bassirou Diomaye Faye took advantage of the opportunity to reaffirm the government’s unwavering attachment to the fundamental values of labor, that are dignity, freedom of work, union freedom, freedom to undertake and respect for the rights and duties of each. “These values found our social model.
