Commissioned in 2021 and launched officially in July 2023 with the cutting of the first sheet, the site of the Avante 1800 patroller for the Royal Navy crossed a structuring stage in September 2024 with the installation of the keel.
Since that date, the progression of the program has been carried out in time, according to the calendar agreed between the Moroccan authorities and the Spanish manufacturer Navantia, affirm specialized sources. It is at the end of this process that the delivery of the building, considered as one of the most important naval acquisitions of the last decade for Morocco, is planned in mid-2026.
