The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) organized, Thursday evening at the Mohammed VI complex in football, a reception in honor of the national female team of futsal, to celebrate its coronation during the first edition of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) in the category, organized in Morocco.
The ceremony experienced the presence of the families of the players, as well as members of the Morocco team, who shared moments of joy in a festive atmosphere of pride and honor, the FRMF said in a press release.
On this occasion, the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa, “Ready the message of congratulations addressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, to the members of the national team”underlines the same source.
This celebration is part of the FRMF valuation of the efforts made by the players as well as by the technical and administrative staff, having allowed this consecration, which strengthens the upward dynamics of national women’s football and highlight the growing place of Moroccan football at the continental and international levels, added the press release.
This historic coronation was won by the national team after their victory in the final against the Tanzanie team over the score of 3 goals to 2.
