The Belgian Cup final held all its promises between Anderlecht and Bruges. The two teams first gauged during the first 20 minutes beforenderlecht accelerates the pace, but without scoring a goal.
It was Bruges who opened the brand first, Hugo Siquet sent a superb center that Romeo Vermant resumed at the second post. After this goal, Bruges had the occasion of the 2-0, but Jashari pulled over the Cosemans cages.
After the start of the second -year second period, it took a single opportunity for Bruges to take the break. Same operating mode as for the first goal, Tzolis focused for Romeo Vermant who deceived Cosemans.

Tzolis was not far from 3-0 with its powerful shot, but it ended in the small exterior net of the Mauve goal. At the very end of the match, the Greek had passed very close to 3-0 too, but Cosemens braked the ball well, and Simic could dismiss the danger.
In the 90th minute, Vazquez reduced the gap after a superb work of Edozie. The Argentinian only had to push the ball to the bottom of the nets. It was not enough to worry the Bruges, the Mauves pushed, but without success. Bruges therefore won his twelfth Belgian Cup.
