A change in which the mayor of Muriaux Nathalie Donzé is delighted: “It has been since the start of the legislature that we have relaunched this request to the infrastructure service. We are happy that it has helped us and heard to go to the end of this approach.”
Contrary to what one might think, the road crossing the Peuchapatte is taken every day by hundreds of cars that travel between the woods and the Breux. This overload of pendulum traffic, especially during peak hours, is the main reason why the municipality of Muriaux has requested the reduction in speed within the hamlet. “There is a real security issue,” says Nathalie Donzé, people drive far too fast when there can be children and horses near the road. “
No additional arrangements for the moment

The mayor of Muriaux hopes that this measure will be effective in improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Peuchapatte. “The inhabitants are very happy with this validation of the 30 km/h,” adds Nathalie Donzé.
For the moment, no other road development is planned to force motorists to slow down the look. “They would be the responsibility of the town, then we will first observe whether motorists will respect this new limitation,” said the mayor.
