A new meeting place was inaugurated on Saturday at Place du Tunnel in Lausanne. The edict of bus station will offer a free activity program for all tastes in order to animate the premises in the spring of 2025.
The project is led by the district association, with the support of the city of Lausanne. Its objective: to propose to the population to reinvest this emblematic place of the Riponne-Tunnel district, formerly central point for interurban transport. Several repercussions are expected: social (creation of bonds, reinforced feeling of security, valuation of diversity), economic (energization of uses and frequentation of the place) and environmental (reuse of the existing without heavy transformation and shared use).
