The suva targeted in the investigation into Malley’s site accident (VD), an airplane is close to mountaineers at Mont Rose, Elon Musk’s advertising for the European far right, life – perhaps – on an exoplanet and the disturbing fashion of “skinnytok”: these are the choices of Rtsinfo week.
Survey – SUVA in the prosecutor after a construction accident
Who is responsible for the “Malley Phare” disaster, this site on which a scaffolding suddenly collapsed in Prilly on July 12, 2024, killing three workers and injuring eleven other people? The survey of the Vaud public prosecutor is particularly interested in the Roth scaffolding company, as well as in general JPF and Construction perspectives, as indicated internal documents to the survey that the RTS has obtained.
The SUVA, the client of this vast project, is also concerned. The main accident insurer in Switzerland, which provides nearly 2 million workers and leads nearly 10,000 site inspections per year, has a housing stock of around 8.5 billion francs used to cover its services.
According to these investigative documents, the prosecutor Eric Mermoud sent to the Suva on October 24 the order to provide him with a certain number of documents necessary for his investigation, whose calls for tenders and contracts with subcontracting companies, but above all all the reports of the site inspections which preceded the disaster.

Report – An airplane narrowly avoids mountaineers at Mont Rose
A small passenger plane came close to mountaineers on a Mont Rose glacier. It was almost noon on Saturday, April 26 when the engine device registered in Geneva lands at the Colsia pass, on the Swiss side of the Alpin massif. Barely on the ground, the apparatus starts back, starts in the slope, takes speed, but he fails to take off, rushing on a group of mountaineers than he narrowly avoids.
The Federal Office of Civil Aviation and the Swiss survey service launched an investigation. The pilot spontaneously pointed out to the authorities. He risks a criminal sanction as well as withdrawal from his license and his qualifications.

Analysis – How Elon Musk uses X to boost the European far right
A survey of public public media explains how Elon Musk has become, via his social network X, a major relay of the European far right. The analysis of more than 15,000 posts published by the billionaire reveals a pronounced hostility towards Europe and an active promotion of personalities and far -right parties.
Europe in general is one of the privileged digital playgrounds of the boss of X. By analyzing the corpus of 15,000 messages thanks to a method mixing artificial intelligence and human verification, France 24 and RTBF concluded that Elon Musk published 1308 critical posts towards Europe in five months, on average 7.2 per day.
-Elon Musk sees in the European Union a threat to his radical conception of freedom of expression. Its digital activism is similar, according to some experts, to a form of ideological interference aimed at exporting the American ultra-conservative agenda to Europe.

Interview – Prudence on life indices on an exoplanet
On April 17, astronomers using the James Webb telescope announced that they had detected biological activity indices on an exoplanet located 124 light years from the earth, or about 1.7 million billion kilometers.
The K2-18B exoplanet, the mass of which is more than eight times greater than that of the earth and the diameter 2.5 times larger, could be a “ocean planet” entirely covered with water, according to some astronomers. However, this presence is by far not confirmed with certainty.
Invited Tuesday in the RTS Forum program, Didier Queloz, Nobel Prize, Astronomer and Codecipreur of the first exoplanet in 1995, explains why the results obtained by the scientists of the James Webb telescope represent an advance in the analysis of atmospheres, but also why it is necessary to consider them with caution.
