In its weekly column, the HES-SO Valais-Wallis honors the nursing sector, presented by Anne-Sylvaine Héritier, co-responsible for the training. This professional journey attracts more and more vocations, at a time when the need for caregivers is pressing in Switzerland as elsewhere.
Located in Sion and Viège, the three -year trained sector of nurses holding a Bachelor HES in nursing care, able to quickly integrate the labor market, especially in a context of strong shortage.
Four entrance doors allow access to training:
- Professional maturity.
- Specialized health maturity, offered directly by the High School of Health (HEDS), mixing 14 weeks of lessons and 14 weeks of internship.
- The complementary health modules given over a year at the HEDS, intended in particular for holders of gymnasial maturity.
- Admission on file, reserved for people aged 25 and over, with a CFC in the health field.
At the end of the training, professional integration is almost guaranteed. The graduates join a sector in tension, where the outlets are numerous throughout the Valais, Swiss, even beyond landscape.
