The historic city of Saint-Louis is preparing to experience a major transformation with the launch of the ONOMO TAX hotel project. This project, led by the Fortunes Capital group, represents an investment of 100 million euros (around 65 billion FCFA) and aims to reposition the city as a nerve center of business and cultural tourism.
A high -standing project
At the heart of this initiative, an International Luxury Onomo hotel, accompanied by high -end residences, commercial spaces, cultural places and environmentally friendly infrastructure. Particular attention will be paid to the architecture of the project, designed to integrate harmoniously into the historic cachet of the city.

In addition to its architecture, the project is distinguished by its considerable social benefits: 4,000 expected jobs, including 1,000 direct, in the construction and exploitation phase.

Future capital tourism capital
If Saint-Louis has long attracted lovers of culture and history, the Onomo Provision Provides a strategic inflection towards business tourism, a segment still little exploited in Senegal outside Dakar. The hotel complex will include spaces for conferences, coworking and high -end reception, likely to attract executives, investors and institutional actors in a context of increasing regionalization.
This investment arrives at a pivotal moment. With the announced emergence of oil and gas deposits off Saint-Louis positions the region as a future major energy hub. In this context, the business hotel becomes an essential pillar of the local economic ecosystem.
A project in line with the PDT/SL
This hotel development is part of a broader approach in addition to the renovation and the development of the urban heritage of Saint-Louis. The Saint-Louis tourism development program and its region (PDT/SL) is underway, especially on the island listed as a UNESCO World Heritage.
