Time is capricious this Friday, according to the last forecasts of the National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (Anacim). A generally cloudy sky sets up on most of the territory, announcing a significant change in atmospheric conditions.
But it is the southeast regions, notably Kédougou and Tambacounda, which will be at the heart of attention. Indeed, from the evening and until Saturday morning, thunderstorms accompanied by rains are expected in these areas, to the relief of the rural populations which scrutinize the horizon pending the first drops. Elsewhere in the country-especially in the north, in the west and in the southwest-the sky will also be covered, with risks of localized fine rains, without significant intensity according to the forecasters.
The wind will blow weakly to moderately, with a west to north-west orientation on the north coastal strip, and west in southwest in the rest of the country. On the temperatures side, the heat persists in terms of land, in particular in the east and in the center where the maximum will oscillate between 36 ° C and 40 ° C. On the other hand, coastal regions such as Dakar, Saint-Louis and Cap Skirring will benefit from milder conditions, with softer temperatures under the effect of maritime influence.
