The National Beach Soccer team in Senegal begins its world campaign this Friday against Spain, as part of the first day of the discipline world cup.

The beach lions, led by coach Oumar Ngalla Sylla, approach this meeting with confidence after reassuring preparation. Last Friday, they won 4-2 against Italy in a friendly match, displaying defensive solidity and an offensive efficiency which augur on an ambitious entry.

Senegal is evolving in a raised group, where it will also have to face Tahiti and Chile. Two formidable opponents in a growing discipline, where every detail counts.

Building on their experience on the continental scene and their regularity at the highest level, the Lions target at least one place in the last square, even better. The duel against Spain will be a first life -size test to gauge Senegalese ambitions.
