The high -end hotel project Onomo Take Saint-Louisamount of 65 billion FCFA (environ 100 million euros), was officially launched this Wednesday April 30 in Dakar. Worn by Fortunes Capital S.in partnership with the Onomo groupthe Cabnet ALEPA et Synequanone & Partnersthis 4 -star hotel complex aims to reposition Saint-Louis like a Reference tourist destination in the sub-region. The launch ceremony was held in the presence of major players in the tourism sector, investors, institutional representatives and strategic partners.
This project is part of a dynamic of Valuation of the territoryof job creation and Promotion of sustainable tourism. Leisure and seaside -oriented, the future hotel targets demanding customers by combining refinement, comfort et environmental sensitivity. It will integrate eco-responsible technologies intended to reduce the consumption of energy and water, in particular thanks to the use of renewable energies.
According to Oumar SeckDirector General of Fortunes Capital SA, Onomo Take Saint-Louis constitutes a centerpiece of a vast real estate complex envisaged as the new urban epicenter of the city. “This set represents a global investment of 65 billion FCFA, with the key 1,000 direct jobs et 3,000 indirect jobs. It will bring together several integrated poles, combining structuring urban planning, tourism, affairs and residential housing, “he said.

He said that architecture, inspired by local identity, will be based on the use of Biomorphic materials and will adopt a design « African chic »mixing local craftsmanship et contemporary lines.
Cheikh oumar SyDirector of Synequanone & Partners, announced that theHotel opening is scheduled for 2027saying that he will become a Business hotel flagship in the north of the country, with the ambition of making Saint-Louis the second economic capital of Senegal.
On the side of the authorities, Gora loGeneral Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat of the National Committee for Monitoring Local Content (St-CNSCL), praised an initiative in line with the dynamics of local developmentespecially in the context of the emergence of petroleum sector in Saint-Louis: “This project meets the requirements of local content and embodies the Vision Senegal 2050. »
