Bay of Ngor: Last Straight Store for membership of the prestigious club of the most beautiful bays in the world!

This Thursday, April 10, the town of Ngor had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the club of the most beautiful bays in the world. This visit, which was held from April 10 to 12, was an opportunity to discover the natural, human and cultural richness of our bay according to a press release.

A sea trip made it possible to admire the unique beauty of the bay and its strong link with the local population. The day continued with a friendly lunch in Sunu Makane, offered by the restaurant, and ended with a panoramic view of the bay from the open sea. The highlight of the visit was the official dinner at the COP21 restaurant, during which the club president announced a favorable opinion for the final membership of Ngor bay in the club. On this occasion, the pennant of the club of the most beautiful bays in the world was solemnly given to the mayor of the town.
The delegation was made up of Louis Thébault, president, Bruno Bodard, elected president and Issa Barro, managing director. They were able to exchange with local actors such as the Aquagym club Les Dauphins, the Nautilus diving club, the grouping of carriers on the island of Ngor (RTIN), as well as many artists and cultural figures of the island.
The last step towards this international recognition will be played on May 3, 2025, during the General Assembly at Mont Saint-Michel, where the final visit report will be presented and the Bay of Ngor will receive its official membership diploma during the 2025 Congress planned in Canada. “The town of Ngor is proud and honored to see its bay recognized for its beauty and authenticity. Together, let’s continue to enhance our natural heritage! “Concludes the note.
