The Bouabate-Fès association paid, on Saturday May 3, 2025, a vibrant tribute to renowned Moroccan caterers. “We are introducing an international festival under the theme The traditional heritage over time to celebrate heritage months from April 18 to May 18,” said Asmae El Meskini, member of the association.
On the occasion of his festival, the NGO distinguished the caterers Abdlouhab Benslimane (Afrah Fez), Allal El Oudghiri, Mohamed Benihiya (Sobvel), Driss Bennis (Afrah Bennis), Aziz Benmasoud (caterer Benmasoud), and Rachid Benkirane (RJ Catering). For the latter, “being a caterer is an exciting, taste, and challenge profession”. And precisely, it is a great challenge that Benkirane launched with his family to become one of the first women caterers offering a revisited Moroccan gastronomy. Same story with Aziz Benslimane, whose father (Abdelouhab), had been the “chief cook” of the princely marriage of Sar Lalla Hasnaa taking place in 1994 in Fès.
This May 3, 2025, the tenors of the taste of taste and flavors were honored by Bouabate-Fès which also celebrated the Moroccan heritage through the caftan, the senses and the values. An objective strongly defended by the president of the association Leïla Bennis who makes each of her events “a great success and a celebration of the historic legacy of the kingdom” in the presence of brand personalities.
