What Moroccan schools lead the race for excellence?

The Top School in Morocco annual ranking for the year 2024-2025 has been unveiled. Directed by Campus Mag from the opinions of more than 60 directors of leading Moroccan business resources, this record distinguishes engineering and management schools which best prepare for employment.

A real barometer of the quality of Bac+5 training recognized by the State, it is based on three key criteria; The notoriety of establishments with recruiters, the quality of graduate profiles (integration, progression, leadership), and wage levels when entering the labor market.

This new edition confirms the solidity of historical institutions while devoting the emergence of new establishments that upset the balances. The Casablanca Central School is the perfect example. Although recent, it already incorporates the closed circle of the Top Tier 1 alongside the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) and the School of Science and Engineering of Al Akhawayn University. In the private sector, the Isga, attached to the Edvantis group, produced a remarkable breakthrough by also joining this level of excellence.

In the Top Tier 2, we find in particular the Eigsi Casablanca and the Ecine of the International University of Rabat. Two schools turned to the health professions, the ESGB under the UM6SS and the Abulcasis engineering school, also entered, proof of a diversification of the profiles sought by the market.

As for management schools, Al Akhawayn University, ENCG Settat and ISCAE maintain their position at the top of the public ranking, thanks to a solid reputation and a network of old well established in the professional world. In the private sector, Esca schools of management, Hem and Rabat Business School are still dominating, while being followed by schools in strong progression such as Isga Management, SUP HR or even Fez Business School of the UPF.

An important novelty refines this edition, with the introduction of three classification levels – Top Tier 1, 2 and 3 – reserved for establishments issuing a Bac+5 diploma recognized by the State. This segmentation makes it possible to better account for the real impact of each school in the labor market, taking into account their ability to prepare young people for solid and well -remunerated careers.

For Youssef Ziraoui, Director of Publication of Campus Mag, this method offers a more nuanced and useful reading of the academic landscape. It highlights the forces of each establishment and feeds a healthy competition between confirmed leaders and ambitious challengers. Classified schools will also benefit from a showcase on the Topschoolinmorocco.com site, in order to present their programs, dialogue with students and strengthen their attractiveness.
