The last monthly statement of the EDV Observatory (Travel Companies), consulted by Barlamane.comreveals a marked predilection of French professionals for Morocco, which assumes first place in summer destinations abroad, with 38 % of the votes cast by the agencies interviewed.
Tunisia (27 %) and Spain (23 %) follow, at a good distance, in this ranking developed from declarations of more than 600 points of sale. Morocco, which enjoys easy air accessibility and a stable climate, continues to exercise a constant appeal on a clientele in search of controlled otherness.
On the scale of summer reservations, all countries combined, France retains its primacy with 57 % of the intentions, carried in particular by the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts. In this regard, the report emphasizes that “customers manifests an increased loyalty to hexagonal destinations, comforted by an extensive offer and reassuring predictability”.

In France, France sales fell slightly (–2 % in value, –8 % in volume), with a marked preference for short -term stays. “The domestic demand is folded but remains supported, carried by a clientele in search of fast and accessible escapes”observe the barometer.
Finally, the forecasts for the coming months suggest a tension on availability, especially for the months of July and August, where firm reservations accuse a slight delay, a sign of persistent wait -and -see wait in part of the travelers.
