The Moroccan Parliament took part, from April 28 to 30 in the Dominican Republic, in the work of the April session of the Central American Parliament (Parlacen).
The Moroccan delegation was made up of representatives of the section of the House of Representatives and the House of Advisors to Parquen, Abdelali Barouki and Ahmed Lakhrif, said a press release from the House of Representatives.
In a speech during a forum on the challenges of the integration system in the face of the growing migration crisis in Central America, the Moroccan delegation highlighted the kingdom’s policy in terms of migration management in the context of a human, security and development dimensions, is the same source.

It also highlighted Morocco’s experience, in accordance with high royal directives, in terms of integrating migrants into the national fabric and regularization of their situation.
-In addition, representatives of the Moroccan Parliament had meetings, in particular with the President of the Parcen, Carlos Hernández, the President of the Senate in the Dominican Republic, Ricardo de Los Santos, the President of the Permanent Dominican Commission for External Relations and International Cooperation in the Chamber of Deputies, Ignacio Aracena and the President of the Senate External Relations Commission.
These meetings constituted an opportunity to express the common desire to strengthen both bilateral and multilateral parliamentary cooperation, and to reiterate the constant position of the Dominican Republic concerning the question of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, as well as its support for the Moroccan initiative of autonomy.
During this event, a plenary session also took place for the examination and approval of several reports and projects of resolution, relating to the protection of orphaned children victims of disasters, migration and responsible use of artificial intelligence in Central America, concluded the press release.
