This 2025 edition of the World Congress of Energy Innovation is marked by a strong participation of the southern Moroccan regions, notably Dakhla Oued Eddahab, Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra and Guelmim Oued Noun. These three regions are represented by their presidents, vice-presidents, local elected officials and general directors of regional investment centers.
This mobilization is the fruit of a partnership between the Directorate General of Local Authorities (DGCT), the Association of the Regions of Morocco (ARM) and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in London. The displayed objective is clear: highlighting the major projects launched in these regions in terms of renewable energies, green hydrogen, sustainable development and green innovation.
To strengthen this presence, a 160 m² Moroccan stand was installed in the Olympia exhibition center. It allows the three southern regions to enhance their infrastructure, their economic potentials as well as the major axes of their development strategy.
Several B2B meetings were also organized during the congress, aimed at establishing solid links with international investors, in particular British. These exchanges aim to strengthen the international visibility of the provinces of southern Morocco, now at the heart of the national energy transitional policy.
