At the end of April 2025, Public Health France provides its assessment with the various vaccine covers in Normandy for the year 2024. The Channel turns out to be excellent student.
Infants
In Normandy, vaccination against measles (at least one dose) is high (95 %). The cover in two doses is less than the target of 95 % allowing to interrupt the transmission of the virus. She is high and in sharp progression with regard respectively to meningococcal C (90 %) and b (58 %). Note that vaccination against Acwy and B meningococcal compulsory since this 1is January.
In the Channel, the percentage of infants who have received three doses of the hexavale vaccine (DTP, Cittle, Haemophilus Influenzae B, hepatitis B), Three doses against pneumococci, against measles, mumps and rubella (ROR) and a meningococcus C is higher than that of all of France. Idem for vaccination against rotavirus. Vaccination coverage against Méningococcus B is however lower than that of all France as soon as it is a question of two doses and the recall at 21 months.
Children, adolescents
In Normandy, there is a Decrease in vaccination coverage with age against diphtheria, tetanus and polio. Vaccination coverage Against the meningococci it is insufficient in those over 15 (79 % between 10 and 14 years old and 57 % between 15 and 19 years old). Vaccination against Méningococci Acwy is recommended between 11 and 14 years old, with a possible catch -up up to 24 years. Regarding Papillomavirus, 58 % of girls are vaccinated against 32 % of boys in full diagram. Vaccination coverage progresses on both sides and the gap between the two sexes is reduced.

Adults, pregnant women
Despite the reminders recommended at 25 and 45 years old, the Vaccination covers against diphtheria, tetanus and polio are low in Normandy. 63 % of adults are up to date at 25 against 47 % at 45 years old. Vaccination coverage against Poppy increases in pregnant women (77 %). This has been recommended since 2022 in the second quarter.
In the English Channel, the percentage ofAdults vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus and polio is superior to that of the whole of France, ditto concerning pregnant women and darling.
65 years and over
In Normandy, vaccine covers are generally very insufficient : 58 % are vaccinated against flu (objective set at 75 %), 55 % against diphtheria, tetanus and polio and 18 % (at risk) against pneumococci. THE new recommendations are as follows: vaccination for all against the zona, from 75 years old or from 65 years of age in the event of chronic pathologies against the syncytial respiratory virus and for all from 65 years old against pneumococcus.
Despite low vaccine covers in France, Those of the Channel remain superior to those of the whole of France concerning the flu, but also diphtheria, tetanus and polio and pneumococci.
