A free vaccination conference will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Carré d’Art auditorium in Nîmes. Open to all, it will address current issues and scientific advances in vaccination.

Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 6 p.m., at the Carré d’Art auditorium, a free conference on vaccination entitled “Vaccination news: understanding the challenges of today” will be held. This meeting is open to everyone and aims to inform the general public about the advances and current challenges in terms of vaccination.

Organized in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine of Nîmes, Health Insurance, ARS Occitanie and several local health structures, this conference will bring together the Dr ioric sloremiliouslygeneral practitioner and specialist in prevention at ARS Occitanie, and Dr David Costageneral practitioner, director of the University Department of General Medicine Montpellier-Nîmes, and teacher-researcher.

The new scientific data, current recommendations as well as societal issues related to vaccination will be discussed at this conference.

The event is part of a large -scale awareness -raising approach, intended to strengthen public confidence in prevention systems, while recalling the importance of vaccination for individual and collective health.
