Saint-Étienne-de-Tulmont. Cancer: an evening to understand

On Wednesday May 21 at 8 p.m., the Saint-Étienne-de-Tulmont village hall will host a conference open to everyone on a subject of primary importance: recent advances in the fight against lung cancer. Organized by the Atout Coeur association for Oncopole, in partnership with the Toulouse Cancer Health Foundation, this evening will bring together two renowned speakers. Doctor Olivier Cavayrac, researcher at Inserm at the Toulouse cancer research center and specialist in lung cancer, will present a conference entitled “New hopes in the fight against lung cancer”. He will share the latest scientific discoveries and the new therapeutic avenues that feed the hope of patients and their loved ones. Professor Gilles Favre, director general of the Toulouse Cancer Health and Oncopole Foundation, will come to take stock of the advances in regional research and will answer public questions.

The evening will also be marked by the official delivery of a donation check from the organizing association, chaired by Josette Ramond. It will end in conviviality around a jar of thanks. Free and free entry. Come and support research and inform you about medical progress that already changes lives.
