While the JDD questioned him that the term “Islamophobia“did not exist in French law, the head of government replied only “Make a tweet”. “It is a human, political, moral reaction”he hammered. “What matters to me is not the word, that’s what is happening: a form of chain explosion of French society”, he insisted.
“I see a danger: that of only looking at his fellow citizens by their origin, their skin color or their religion. I see the detestation of Muslims and Islam, the detestation of Jews and Judaism. And the detestation of Christians. With crimes in the three cases”, continued François Bayrou. “The detestation of a fellow citizen for what he is, for his origin, for his faith, for his philosophy, I will never accept it.”
