After The memorable victory of Etaples-sur-MerVillage of Pas-de-Calais, in 2021, the Hauts-de-France region could again shine this year: two territory markets will try their luck in the competition of the “most beautiful market in France” organized by TF1. In total, 24 markets across France compete.
Two Hauts-de-France markets in the running to become the most beautiful market in France
To represent the region, it is the market in Bergues (North) and that of Soissons (Aisne) which will be in the running this year. In Bergues, local specialties, such as the famous Bergues cheese or the Flemish waffles, are in the spotlight. Every Monday morning, around sixty exhibitors gathered around the UNESCO World Heritage Belfo.
On the side of Soissonsmore than 60 merchants are brought together under the large hall and in Place Fernand-Marquigny. There is traditional know-how and quality local products.
Voting date
To vote for your favorite market, simply go to the site your Plusbeaarché.fr. You have until May 29, 8 p.m., to support Bergues or Soissons. On May 30, the ten markets having collected the most votes will be announced. A new period of votes will then open until June 13. The big winner will be unveiled at 1 p.m. of TF1 the week of June 23 … battery to launch the summer season!
