Saturday May 3 and Sunday 4 is one of the weekends of the year which have the most flea markets a real French passion with a total 50,000 meetings per year. A craze that wins social networks.
This is the weekend meeting for many French people. In a single morning and for 50 €, Nathalie and her daughter Ambre have redone their wardrobe. “This is the advantage of garage sales, it is not expensive”, said the mother. Do business, a passion from sunny days. Half of the French have already bought or sold in a flea market. “The goal of the game is already to reimburse yourself in the place. A place that costs us on average 20 euros. If we make 20 euros in turnover, that’s good”, explained Nathalie, a regular in garage sales.
Grocers, today there are everywhere. Forties just for the weekend of Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4 in Hauts-de-France, fifteen in Brittany. And done new, they make the big hours of social networks and influencers. But with broken prices, sellers sometimes find it difficult to make profitable, especially in major cities.
