On the sidelines of the national internship (May 1-4), the Brittany League organized this Friday the first stage of the season of the Open circuit of France of Paraf Surf. Thirty competitors, including several members of the French team, participated in the event.
Desired by the Paraf Surfing Commission of the Federation for a situation during the internship, this French Open was disputed in very beautiful condition on the Torche spot: 1m50, blue sky and off shore. So we attended very good performances throughout the day, and each competitor was able to spend three times in the water to express themselves. A wish defined by the technicians to allow them to gauge all the participants several times.
Very comfortable in these waves, Eric Dargent made a festival, with the best total of points of the day (16.50 pts). The best wave of the day returning to the n; 3 world Heloise Lauriol parties on a bomb at the end of the day (9.50 pts) and who heads the world champion Laurie Phips (9 pts). Maxime Cabane was also impressive (15.93 pts), just like the young Maxime Clarkin (15.43 pts), who posted big progress since his bronze medal last year at the Worlds.
The weekend is not finished for all the parasitic paraders convened for the national internship which will continue on Saturday and Sunday in Finistère.
All our congratulations to the Brittany surf league for the organization and reception on the natural site of the Torche.
