Tennis Canada unveils the winners of the …

Tennis Canada has unveiled the 2024 winners of the high performance recognition program today, a strategic initiative designed to reward the key sectors that contribute to the development of a solid high performance basin in Canada. This program was launched in 2023 and replaces the program of tennis development centers (CDT).

“We would like to congratulate the winners of this year and thank them for the efforts they make in order to provide exceptional support to players across the country,” said Jocelyn Robichaud, head of development for the under 15 of Tennis Canada. The high performance recognition program, the long -term goal of which is to develop the best professional athletes and optimize everyone’s potential, is an important investment in the future of Canadian tennis. »»

The program is based on five main pillars – organization of competitions, Midj training environment, players ‘results, small AS National Bank and coaches’ results – who reward clubs, players and coaches at platinum, gold, silver and bronze levels.

In 2024, 39 clubs have satisfied the criteria of the program for the organization of competitions and training environment for the MIDJ and will therefore receive financial support from Tennis Canada in 2025. Nine clubs were rewarded in both categories. Note that nine clubs have been rewarded in the two categories, which testifies to their commitment to high -level tennis in Canada. The winners are presented below, in alphabetical order.

Organization of competitions

  • Platine : Premier Racquet Clubs Markham et SmartVMC Racquetsports by ACE
  • Now: Aforza, Great West Fitness and Racquet Club, Niagara Academy of Tennis, Red Deer Tennis Club, Rideau Sports Center, Sani Sport, Saville Community Sports Center, Tennis Club Ile des Sisters, Tennis enrj, The Supreme Court Tennis Club and The Tennis Center
  • Silver: Tennis Momentum Academy, Drummondville tennis association, North York Tennis Association, Tennis 3R, Tennis Beauce and Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Center
  • Bronze : Advantage Tennis International at Veneto, Caledon Tennis Club, EB Tennis, Kingston Racquet Centre, Newton Tennis Club et Oak Bay Recreation Centre

Midj training environment

  • Platinum: Tennis club island of the sisters
  • However: Ménard & Associés Academy, Advantage Tennis International at Veneto, Ontario Racquet Club and Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Center
  • Argent : North Vancouver Tennis Centre, Richmond Hill Country Club, Sani Sport, Saville Sports Centre, SmartVMC Racquetsports by ACE, Sobeys Atlantic Tennis Centre, et Tennis Montréal Excellence
  • Bronze: Academy of Tennis Aliassime, Academy Tennis Momentum, Aforza, Carrefour Multisports, Côte-de-Liesse sports club, Tennis St-Augustin complex, Hollyburn Country Club, Peak Performance Tennis Academy, Richmond Country Club, Curtain Sports Center, UBC Tennis Center
