E-GOV: a new framework agreement between the DGSN and the Department of Digital Transition

The Ministry of Digital Transition and the Reformation of the Administration and the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) signed, Friday in Rabat, a framework agreement to strengthen the institutional partnership aimed at the development of e-government and the generalization of the use of technical characteristics and secure facilities offered by the digital identity associated with the new generation of the electronic national identity card.

This agreement was signed by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government responsible for the Digital Transition and the Reform of the Administration, Ms. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, and the Director General of National Security and Territory Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, said a joint statement.

It intervenes in application of high royal directives aimed at developing the e-government system and promoting the use of modern technologies to facilitate citizens’ access to public services, as is part of the implementation of the “Digital Morocco 2030” strategy.

The agreement, which proceeds from the will of the two institutions to improve the quality of the public services provided to citizens through a functional complementarity between administrations and institutions, aims to establish a legal and organizational framework to supervise the partnership and cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transition and the Reform of the Administration and the DGSN, on the one hand, and to promote the development of e-government and the provision of Supplied by the national trusted third party platform, on the other hand.

The agreement also intends to strengthen joint institutional action in order to accelerate the digital transformation of the public sector and support the development of high -quality digital and high -quality public services, focused on improving the user’s experience by replacing its physical presence with digital documentation.
