Rebecca Sayegh’s career in the Toms River (New Jersey) police may well be over. The 32 -year -old American is faced with a whole series of serious charges, including burglary with break -in, terrorist threats, aggression and vandalism. According to a report that NJ.com has obtained, the thirty-something entered his ex-groove Friday evening in Berkeley by breaking the glass door with a stick.
Then the police argued with her former companion and a woman, before pushing them violently, slightly injuring one of them to one eye. The two people then have badly retained Rebecca in the living room, but she managed to free herself and began to smash all kinds of objects in the house, including photos hanging on the wall. The 30 -year -old also scratched the hood of the car from one of the victims.
The situation did not calm down when the police arrived: Rebecca tried to fight with his colleagues and resisted her arrest. While she was escorted to a patrol car, the police threatened to burn her ex’s house. The American, who was not in service at the time of the events, was placed in detention, where she will remain until Friday, the day of a preliminary hearing.
Last year, she brought in legal action against the police and the municipality, accusing the former police chief of Toms River and others superiors of having sexually harassed her and not having granted her to promote him because she is a woman. In her complaint, she spoke of an atmosphere of “Boys Club”. The policeman was suspended for the investigation.
