The OCP group organized on Tuesday, within Mohammed VI University Polytechnique (UM6P) in Benguerir, the first edition of the OCP Innovatex Day, a high -level meeting devoted to technological ingenuity applied to the requirements of sustainable industry.

Driven by the Manufacturix platform, under the Manufacturing Division (SBU), this day brought together some 500 participants from various horizons-industrial companies, young technological shoots, research centers and academic establishments-around the same objective: to promote the emergence of concrete solutions to industrial challenges, in close articulation with the requirements of durability.

In a speech pronounced on this occasion, Abdenour Jbili, director of manufacture and president and chief executive officer of the subsidiary OCP Maintenance Solutions, insisted on the determining role of new generations in the reconfiguration of production processes. “Young people, who today have an intimate mastery of digital knowledge, constitute a ferment of transformation and the future. Their inventions, their projects, their audacity are essential to the industrial metamorphosis which is essential ”, he said.

Among the 2,500 applications received in December 2024, 35 companies from 25 countries were selected, including several Moroccan companies who came to exhibit their know-how. This crossroads of ideas allowed project leaders to present their prototypes and benefit from privileged access to large -scale facilities, with a view to possible integration within the group’s production channels.
