This Monday, May 5, will correspond with the launch of work to Jupille as part of the transformation of the E25 into a Urban Boulevard. The Monsin Interchange Coatings will be renewed. At the same time, another project begins in the region, this time on E42 between Flémalle and Horion-Hozémont in the direction of Namur. Traffic will be on two narrowed strips.

The reashashafting work on the E42 concerns a 3-kilometer portion between femalle and Horion-Hozémont and will last a month. THE Site will be cut into several phases in order to allow the coatings to be renewed on the entire width of the highway, while maintaining maximum mobility.

From May 5 to 6 In the morning, traffic, on E42 between Flémalle and the Horion-Hozémont viaduct in the direction of Namur, will be carried out on two narrowed lanes, on the right side of the roadway, with a maximum speed limited to 70km/h. From Tuesday May 6 to Friday May 23traffic will always be carried out on two narrowed lanes, this time on the left side of the road, with a maximum speed always limited to 70km/h.

Consequently, access to exit n ° 4 “Flémalle” and to the Horion-Hozémont area will be closed, only in the direction of Namur. Motorists who wish to join E42 from Flémalle to Namur will be invited to take rue de l’Airport to reach access n ° 3 “Bierset” and E42 to Namur.

Finally, from May 23 to June 6circulation between Flémalle and the horion viaduct will be carried out again on two narrowed lanes, but on the right side of the road. Access to exit n ° 4 “Flémalle” and the Horion-Hozémont area will be accessible again.
