This Wednesday morning, he was in Ottré (Vielsalm), in the new construction of an individual (see below), for a first in Belgium. He was supported by several technicians; by Manuel Vervier, of the company Vaillant, manufacturer in particular of heat pumps; and Jori Vallott-Vanneuville, Solaredge, a company specializing in solar energy, including batteries and waves. These two companies are used to working together in the German market, but it was a first with us. The innovative idea is to associate everything: production, storage and operation, in particular the heat pump.

Add to that the desire to couple it all with the dynamic price announced in Wallonia next year, i.e. different prices depending on the time. Thus, the electricity produced will be stored at the most interesting time, used and redistributed on the network at the time also appropriate for the customer. In addition, a “back-up” system allows you to cope with a network of electricity. The energy autonomy of the house is thus guaranteed. And artificial intelligence, it will also optimize things. According to technicians, financial savings are substantial.

Only one application

For easier, a single application allows you to control everything: inverter, batteries, heat pump and car terminal. “This is important. This is why I collaborate with these two companies, because there is a communication that works between the two. We can find everything on the market, but when there is no compatibility, everyone returns the ball and it is the installer that is always in the middle”, Add the gouvion. None of that here: a simple app allows control of the system but also to find breakdowns. All interlocutors have the same data, in real time. And the customer can control his house where he is. The advantages? We point to: “Autonomy, prices, piloting and intelligent monitoring. There is a real interest in the customer, the installer and the network.”

“Autonomy and pay reasonable bills”

Patrick Dierckx welcomed this technology in its new construction. Be the first to take advantage of it in our country: “The premium of the system, for me, is secondary, it is more important for suppliers and installers. It is true that I would probably not have as many people of these companies at home if it was not a first. It is pleasant to hear them speak of technicality of things. The important thing for me, it is to have a house that I wanted and that it works of course.”

He remembers the beginnings of his project in Ardennes: “It was the architect who proposed the heat pump, geothermal energy and photovoltaic panels, but it represented a more important investment. At the same time, I saw advertisements for batteries and I discussed it with Mr. Lejeune who told me that it was the time. My idea was to be as much as possible and pay for reasonable bills.” Control via a single application? “It’s a plus for me. For control, but also for possible repairs.”
