The canton of the Jura must urgently invest to get out of the rut. This is (very) summarized the conclusion of a 48 -page report presented this Friday by the Jura Government, which relies on the recommendations of three external experts mandated to restore a budgetary balance undermined for years. These investments must be used to modernize the management, structure and management of the State by 2029 (2 to 3 million francs from a fund to be created), as well as to redeploy municipal structures (7 to 8 million covered by equalization) by going from 51 to 7 or 8 administrative units, Moutier included.
