The Daaka of Médina Gounass is coming to an end, and an important delegation of the Alliance for the Republic (APR) went this Friday in Ziarra to Thierno Amadou Tidiane Bâ, the Khalife of Médina Gounass.
“The delegation, led by former Minister Moussa Baldé, was composed, among other things, of mayors and officials of the APR, such as Abdoulaye Saydou Sow, Mamadou Kassé and Hamidou Anne, all members of the Senate of the Beige and Brown Party,” reports the APR in a press release. The newspaper Le Quotidien emphasizes that the aperitists have transmitted the greetings of President Macky Sall to the caliph, to his family, as well as to the entire Daaka community. They praised the spirit of meditation, faith and fervor which brings together thousands of faithful each year on this Holy Land.
Furthermore, the APR delegation requested from the Holy Man of Prayers for Peace and the Stability of Senegal. In return, Thierno Amadou Tidiane Bâ warmly thanked the members of the delegation for their presence. The daily reports that the caliph recalled the special ties that unite him to President Macky Sall, whom he considers “his son and his friend”. He rented the qualities of the latter, in particular “his attachment to the truth”, before formulating his prayers for President Sall and all his officials. He also called to preserve peace and cultivate the spirit of work.
