A start to the match without surprise
The start of the match did not surprise anyone: Charleroi immediately took the ball, and the Rouches fell. This scheme quickly gave rise to a first alert, from the 5th minute, when Titraoui tried his luck at the entrance to the surface. His powerful strike came close to the amount of Epolo. The Standard, completely disorganized, was disturbing: no clear line between the middle and the attack, and a game made of long hazardous balls. On the Carolos side, domination was sterile. Net opportunities were rare and no goalkeeper had yet to work seriously after 20 minutes.
The second act started as the first: Charleroi on the attack, the standard exceeded. This time, the zebras have materialized. On a confused action, Titraoui missed his center, but Guiagon recovered, centered in turn, and found Heymans. His shot was pushed back by the post, but Stlic followed well and pushed the ball to the bottom. 0-1.
Charleroi then checked the meeting. More cautious, but still as effective in the transitions, the zebras let their opponent come without ever really being worried. Standard tried to react, especially at the end of the match, but it was too late. We had to make the difference earlier.
Charleroi to Europe, the standard always at the bottom
This victory allows Charleroi to keep the head of Europe Playoffs with four points ahead of Westerlo. Rik de Mil’s men confirm that they are the bosses. Standard, for its part, remains last, without the slightest victory, and still lengthens its black series in PO2. Sclessin is no longer a fortress …

Good end of weekends to all!
Charleroi widens the gap, still no victory for the standard
The zebras knew how to capitalize on their good start of the second period to take control of the match via Stlic (50th). The standard will have attempted everything to come back but the Carolos defensive doors were well closed by Keita and Andreou. Charleroi therefore takes advantage of the three points of the victory to detach himself in first place in the Europe Play-Offs before going to Westerlo next week. On the standard side, the without victory in play-offs continues. There are still three games left to put an end to it.
It’s over
