IMplanted on a plot of almost 30 hectares, this future establishment is designed according to the model of “smart hospital” and will be equipped with advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, connected objects, big data, data analysis in real time, robotics and cobotics for surgery.

The first phase provides for the commissioning of 350 beds, thus expanding the regional care offer with new specialties at the regional and national level. The Euromed CHU will work in collaboration with the Hassan II CHU of Fez to respond to three missions: to ensure training in health disciplines, create an offer of tertiary care complementary to existing structures, and promote research and innovation.

The medical project, drawn up in consultation with the Ministry of Health, complies with international standards in terms of medical technologies and ecological standards, says the Euromed University of Fez. From its opening, the establishment will offer essential clinical services to accommodate the first students in health sciences, adds the same source.

The Euromed de Fez CHU is presented as “A structuring project of national scope, at the intersection of health, higher education, scientific research and technological innovation, in line with the great ambitions of the kingdom”.
