A Frenchman was heard Wednesday by a Zurich court for planning the murder of an Afghan and being almost active in September 2024 in Zurich. The latter is accused of having violated a woman in October 2021. His trial must be held this year. But the brother of the alleged victim, a 23 -year -old soldier, did not want to wait for the verdict of justice.
For three years, the brother carefully prepared his sister’s revenge. He detailed his plans in notes presented as part of the hearing. Addressing the alleged rapist, the soldier wrote: “You lack respect for my family, you die and I am the one you meet to accompany you in the afterlife.” The man had also drawn a plan to join the Afghan home and planned to plant five stabs in the neck and the neck.
The defendant seemed determined to take action. In September 2024, he went to the Afghan, armed with a knife, a hammer and an American fist. He waited for her in front of his door for several hours. According to the story reported during the trial, when the man returned from work late in the evening. The soldier sought to have him admitted, in vain. The Afghan would then have said that he first wanted to shower and proposed to go and then be around a drink in a bar, which the accused accepted. The Afghan took the opportunity to alert the police, who arrested the Frenchman.
The latter admitted to having “stupid” and conceded that his plan was “not very clever”. He tried to defend himself by swearing that he no longer intended to kill when he made the trip to Switzerland. The judge denounced a “meticulously prepared” plan and recalled that “doing justice yourself is not a solution”. The Frenchman was sentenced to three years in prison, including six months firm, for criminal preparatory acts to a voluntary homicide. As he had already served his days in pre -trial detention, he was therefore released, but he was expelled from Switzerland for a period of eight years.
