160,000 people are the number of spectators expected at the two Ninho concerts. For these two evenings that display complete, the places were snatched in just six hours. Few French artists have achieved such a feat.
What a path traveled for the one who discovered rap, at the age of 12, thanks to one of his cousins. “I was trying to do like the big ones in my neighborhood. I observed their ways of doing things and listening to them, this obsession came to me, “he explained in the columns of Yard in 2016.
Originally from Longjumeau (Essonne), Ninho, William Nzobazola by his real name, is the son of a famous singer of the Congo, Serge Kiambukuta, who died in 2022. In total, the rapper sold more than 3.5 million albums, his clips have recorded more than 3 billion views and 5 million subscribers follow him on Instagram. On the other hand, he received only one victory of music, that, in 2023, from a male artist to the most streamped album.
Back in Brittany
Outside the stage, the interpreter of “Mamacita”, “Letter to a woman”, “life that leads” or even “as planned”, has also embarked on business. He notably invested in a hair salon, a vodka brand, a gourmet restaurant and a fast-food chain. He also has his, Jefe Productions label, which has more than 10 billion streams.
After several concerts given, a few years ago in the region (Carhaix (29), Brest, Lanester (29), Quimper, Trélivan (22) …), Ninho will be back in Brittany, on the occasion of the La Fête du noise festival, in Landerneau (29), Sunday August 10, 2025, where he will be on stage in the company of rapper Niska.
