G-Dragon, the iconic leader of Bigbang, has once again proven that there was a living legend of the K-Pop. His very first collaboration in the world of alcoholic beverages, the PEACEMINUSONE Highballwas literally taken by storm as soon as pre -orders were opened on April 30, via the Pocket Cu application.
The chain of US supermarkets had put online exactly 888 boxes-an assumed wink at the figure 8, fetish of G-Dragon, born in 1988. The launch was made at 8:18 a.m., a carefully chosen symbolic hour to please the most faithful fans.
The result? The offer was exhausted in less than a second. From 8 a.m., thousands of fans had already connected, causing an overload of servers and endless virtual queues. As soon as the control button is activated, an “exhausted” message appeared, leaving many flabbergas.

Many have turned to social networks to share their frustration. “I can’t even connect!”, “Already exhausted? Is it a joke?” Could we read in the comments. Some have even went to physical Cu shops to try to find out more.
This launch is a great first for the Peaceminusone label, already known for its luxury prestige collaborations, but which had never set foot in the world of spirits.
The highball in question, based on white wine and fresh lemon, is stylized with a slice of lemon cut in the shape of a Marguerite, the brand’s emblem and symbol of peace and hope.

The packaging, too, carries the artistic leg of G-Dragon, with exclusive graphics which make it a real collector’s object. The attention paid to the smallest details is enough to delight vips, the Bigbang Fandom, which follow each GD project with fervor.
According to a representative of BGF Retail, the company that manages Cu, “The demand was so strong that stocks left even before we were able to count the seconds. Even for popular products such as lemon highballs or Dubai chocolates, we had never seen that.”
Pre -orders continue until May 7, with a new sale every day on Pocket Cu, still limited to 888 boxes. To celebrate this launch, several pop-up stores PEACEMINUSONE Highball were installed across the country.

The Pop-Up of the T2 T2 terminal from Incheon airport has already been in service since April 30. Others will soon open, especially in Myeongdong (Seoul) and Ak & Hongdae. In these places, only cans per unit will be offered, with a purchase limit set for one per person.
The box of six cans is sold at 24,000 wons (around 16 €), while a single can costs 4,500 Wons (around 3 €). A sum that many fans are ready to pay to get their hands on this exclusive creation of G-Dragon.
And you, would you have tried your luck to get this collector’s drink like the King of K-Pop?
