This May 1, the South Korean media reported that a man in his twenties, broke into the former Newjewns dormitory, was currently tried for burglary.
According to information, on April 25, the tribunal of the western district of Seoul charged a man for breakup in the dormitory of members of Newjeans and for theft of objects such as hangers and slogans. According to the police investigation report, the man, in his twenties, entered the dormitory for the first time on December 18 after having noticed that the door was not locked. He then introduced himself inside a second time on December 21, 2024, stealing several objects in passing.
Newjeans had already left the dormitory made available by Ador last November, after announcing the end of his exclusive contract with the agency. It seems that the criminal entered it shortly after their departure.
