But does the use of these motorcycles represent a real tactical advantage for the Russians? According to the ISW, the Kremlin soldiers use them to thwart Ukrainian drones, which are a real rock in the Russian army shoe. “The main advantage is that we can enter the enemy position directly and neutralize everyone,” said a Russian soldier in comments reported by CNN.
But other observers have also noted that this original tactic could also be seen as a symptom of the material crisis suffered by the Russian army in recent months. Putin troops wear out during the extension of a conflict that has been going on for a little over three years.
