Faced with the observation that no platform met his needs by centralizing and updating practical information for the attention of doctors, she decides with her companion to create Noteview. This application, rich in 800 sheets on diseases and 12,000 sheets on medication, is intended not only for general practitioners but also for 32 specialties.
“We wanted to develop the ideal tool for our practice”, she explains. The two young practitioners were inspired by an application existing in the United States, Uptodate. With Noteview, they bet on high accessibility, synthetic presentation and easy use so that each doctor finds the information precise in two clicks. The sheets on pathologies are organized according to a system of tabs thanks to which the data is accessible in one click with, each time: the definition, the causes, the additional examinations, the management … all with a view to saving time. The use of AI allows easy research. “The disease sheets have been written by doctors and are all sourced. This software is based on reliable references: has, learned companies … ”, specifies the rheumatologist. In all, 80 volunteer doctors devote between 2 and 6 hours per file thanks to a panel of verified data.
Web training and financial investment
For medication sheets, the ANSM is added to the sources. “If, for example, a doctor is faced with an asthmatic patient, he consults the” asthma “sheet, heads on” treatments “and, by clicking on” salbutamol “, access all information. Everything has been designed for fluid navigation and time saving ”, she takes up.
To materialize this project, the two young practitioners invested 10,000 euros. Maxime Boistelle followed a web development license for a year and coded the first version of the site with a small search engine. The software has 8,000 registered in one year. Access to advanced options, including artificial intelligence, requires a subscription of 19.90 per month, which allows the software publishing company to pay an accountant and pay accommodation.
The young couple of entrepreneurs chose to exercise half-time to continue this adventure. “As a doctor, it was really not easy. We just wanted to develop a tool that helps us on a daily basis. »» Today, Dr Estelle Touboul recognizes that they had to learn a second job in addition to theirs and confides: “It was perhaps a bit naive from us. »» Doctors do not regret having launched themselves.
