The national coordinator of France Insoumise Manuel Bompard estimated Sunday May 4 that the leader of the deputies Les Républicains Laurent Wauquiez was “drifting” and in an “outrageous approach” and “ridiculous” after his declarations on the need for a “health cord” around LFI.
“I think that Laurent Wauquiez is drifting, that he realizes that unfortunately for him, when he thought it would be a health walk, Bruno Retailleau competition in a sometimes just as outrageous way” for the LR congress, declared the deputy of Bouches-du-Rhône on LCI.
Outrageous words
“Each week, Laurent Wauquiez arrives with a proposal and words even more outrageous than the previous week,” he supported, in reference to the proposal of the boss of LR deputies to send people under the obligation to leave the territory (OQTF) to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
-“Disagree yourself between you, let us quiet,” concluded Manuel Bompard.
In an interview published on Saturday in the JDD, Laurent Wauquiez called “to establish a health cord around LFI”, accusing Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s movement of being a “threat to France”.
He also asked for “the creation of a commission of inquiry into the links between rebellious France and Islamist networks”.
Manuel Bompard and Laurent Wauquiez must debate together next weekend on BFMTV, one week before the LR Congress.
