The bicycle festival, the Center-Valo-Val de Loire Vélottour and Sunday without a car, come back this Sunday, May 4, 2025 and is part of the national operation May by bicycle. Throughout the day, the village installed place Anatole-France will welcome many activities for all ages, initiation workshops for novices, a bicycle scholarship to find the rare pearl, as well as the stands of associations, professionals and structures related to active mobility in Touraine. The area concerned extends from Place Anatole-France to Tanners, with entertainment from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Secure wanderings
On this occasion, the entire city center between the Halles and the Cathedral, from the Loire to the Béranger-Halfloup email, will be pedestrianized again to allow secure wanderings this Sunday without a car. The Center-Val de Loire Vélottour will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a departure and an arrival at Place de Strasbourg. The city will take advantage of this day to inaugurate new roundabouts and the developments of Vélival (cycle path), the departure will take place around 10 am from the Maison de la Gloriette.
