On May 1, Blake Lively made a remarkable appearance in the show Late Night with Seth Meyershis first interview since the start of his legal battle with his former co-star Justin Baldoni. The 37 -year -old actress, currently on promotion for the film Another Simple Favorreturns to the personal and professional challenges that it has gone through during the year. As a reminder, Blake Lively accuses Justin Baldoni and his sexual assault team on the film’s shoot It Ends With Us.
A speaking that was inspired by other courageous women, as she explains: “This year has been full of ups and full of stockings. And I see so many women who are afraid of speaking, fear of sharing their experiences. And fear keeps us silent. But I am also aware that many do not have the opportunity to speak. I feel lucky to have been able to do it. And it is the women who could use their voice that made me be strong and who helped me in my beliefs and my fight so that the world is more sure for women and simple.”

An in progress judicial case
The legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni began in December 2024, when the actress accused her co-star and director of the film It Ends With Us sexual harassment and attempt to harm its reputation. Justin Baldoni, for his part, denied these accusations and brought a counterfeit of $ 400 million against Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation and extortion. The trial is scheduled for March 2026
