Even if his musical career has really taken off in the last year thanks to the success of his song EnsembleAliocha Schneider does not intend to abandon the acting profession. On the contrary, the 31 -year -old artist claims to be today in an ideal position to choose the next films or TV series in which he wants to get involved.
“It is a pretty cool feeling to say that you can expect a crush before engaging in a project,” said Journal the actor and singer, met this week as part of the film’s release Hello sadness.

A cult novel on the screen
This week, Aliocha Schneider makes a return to the cinema by defending one of the main roles of Hello sadnessa cinematic adaptation of the first novel by Françoise Sagan produced by Montreal author and filmmaker Durga Chew-Bose.
Shot two years ago in Cassis, near Marseille, the film tells the story of Cécile, 18 years old (Lily Mcinerny), who spends her summer vacation on the French coast with her friend Cyril (Aliocha Schneider), his father Raymond (Claes Bang) and his girlfriend, Elsa (Naïla Harzoune). The arrival of her deceased mother’s friend will change everything in the group’s dynamics.

Aliocha Schneider had already read Françoise Sagan’s novel before being offered a role in the film.
“I had read the novel at the end of adolescence, so almost at the age when Françoise Sagan wrote it [en 1954]underlines the Franco-Quebec actor and singer.
“It was a novel that had marked me and that really entered pop culture. I had a friend who had a t-shirt Bonjour sadness. It is rare for literature to have this power ”.
“That said, the film offers a new and modern look at this work. The character of Cécile had caused a scandal at the time of the publication of the novel because she had had an adventure with this boy without necessarily wanting to marry him. Today, it is a bit of my character who is against the tide by saying: Well, I imagine myself with you forever.
“It is a film that is also out of step with our era of speed and efficiency because it allows itself to go into slowness and contemplation.”
